Our Story

In January of 2006, we both moved into the same apartment complex in Logan, Utah (one of the most beautiful places on earth) while we were both attending Utah State University (Go Aggies!).

We would love to say it was love at first sight, but that would be a lie
Cami was outside having a huge snowball fight with some friends, and threw a snowball at Geoff's window and he came outside to see what was going on and we soon became instant friends. We continued to "hang out" with each other through the spring and summer semesters of school but it was not until Cami moved back to Texas for a semester that we realized we had great potential to be more than just friends.

just after we got engaged
When Cami moved back to continue her education in early Spring of 2007, Geoff finally had the nerve to take her on a proper date and the rest is history. We were engaged in May of 2007 and married August 31, 2007. It was a very special day, one that we will not forget, not just because we were getting married but because we both felt this was the beginning of a familyWe feel blessed to say that we really did marry our very best friend.

We decided soon after we were married we both had the desire to bring children into our family. Almost immediately we became pregnant only to miscarry weeks later. After three failed pregnancies over the course of 2 1/2 years we decided to go get help from fertility specialists only to find that we would most likely never be able to carry a child of our own successfully.

After much praying and careful consideration, we knew that adoption was the way we needed and wanted to start our family. We are now living in Houston, Texas where Geoff is a 4th grade math/science teacher and Cami works in the special education department at a different school. We love our life and feel so blessed with such amazing friends and family and can not wait to add a special son/daughter to our family.
